The Outdoor Classroom is an artisan workshop that teaches courses in traditional hand skills in an outdoor setting. These courses include Blacksmithing, Carving, Woodwork, Whittling, Cordage, Claywork and Fire making. All courses are taught by Jocelyn Grant B.Ed(Ind Arts) who has 25 years experience teaching Design & Technology in State and Waldorf schools. She is registered with the South Australian Board of Studies. The Outdoor Classroom curriculum meets the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) content requirements.

The Outdoor Classroom is located in the Adelaide Hills at Mount Barker.

Each course is limited to a maximum of 4-6 students depending on the course, ensuring that your child will receive quality tuition.

The Outdoor Classroom Home Schooling courses are aimed at students 10 to 16 years of age.
